Another one for the microstock sites. Created in Adobe Illustrator CS4.

Spheres

Here is the Adobe Illustrator version of earlier posts. I have taken it a bit further by incorporating glass marbles which are in contrast to the rusty metal sphere.

Overall I like this version. I think Illustrator brings a crispness to the image that I did not see in the earlier version. Just what I was looking for.

I was a bit surprise to find that this file turned out to be 66.5 MB. That's what I get for using all of those bitmap I guess.

Another Green Metal Sphere

After completing the last illustration I felt it was missing something... depth, texture... something. I started experimenting with other software to see if I could get the feeling I was after.

Using the same rusty metal image as before I decided to use CorelDRAW. I really like the way this turned out, but I am not quite there yet.

Next time I will create one in Illustrator and maybe Photoshop and see if I get a little closer to what I am after.
